Blah!!
You're all going to kill me, but the Tank will be given away at BTM10,
not the upcoming BTM09
-- Although told OTHERWISE
by the owner of the awards shop, I brought in Mr.Tank to be 'mounted',
and they said the soonest turn time they have is June 15 (...Mr.Tank
was very disappointed too...). I explained I was told a few days
by the owner and also relayed the 'simplicity' of the engraving and what
was being done, but the bitch, 'er... I mean the polite lady was
'insistent' that they couldn't do it before then. Rather than argue
with Mrs.Overworked / Underlaid, I just said it would be too late and left.
Sorry everyone! I don't want to run the risk of it not being ready,
plus I'd like to have the chance to get his mug up on the Abattoir
before we give it away. We'll have a tournament anyways (...practice
run!..) and you'll all have a better idea of what you're up against
for the Tank at BTM10.
(...we still have a neat present at BTM09...).
Other
news, for you Half-Life players out there, you may have noticed we now
have a MeatMan's Abattoir2-Half-Life Server,
and also a MeatMan's Abattoir2-Half-Life-TF
Server up! Bammbamm has agreed to run
a mirror server on our behalf (...sort of a "split-up the bandwidth"
kinda' thing!..). Any requests for custom maps and the like for
the
Abattoir Half-Life-TF Server
should therefore be forwarded to Bammbamm
who is the Admin.

Bammbamm
and Slaughter with a grin on their face appear on LanParty.com
in the pictures section from BTM08
(...thanks for letting us know CorpsE...). I landed safe and
sound just before midnight Friday from my trip to Virginia (...beauty
of a place eh!?..). I'm told I had a good time! <GriN!>.
My little 'surprise' arrived from over the pond (...more on that later...)
and the Tank
is going into the trophy shop to be 'mounted' (...he'll be SO happy,
it's hard for a guy with a face like that to get mounted now a days, people
are so superficial!..). BTM09
is now full, but if you still want to come, please let us know -- there's
always the chance of last minute cancellations plus you can stare over
the shoulder of your friends and distract them during the "MeatGrinder".
We have a blast from the past coming to BTM09
