 Looks
like someone got a little rambunctious with the Rocket Launcher near the
Abattoir
on Saturday! We ignored the first wailing pump truck, but when there
were two more, a rescue truck, four cops and an ambulance, our curiosity
was peaked. We looked outside to find smoke bellowing out of the
construction area that was so thick it choked the sun out... A little
excitement for a hot Saturday.
In
other unrelated news, Rampike's
got a new site! Go
check it out, they'll be playing at Spencer Smith Park July 9th, it's
free so come out and support our local band!

About
time! Okay, folks... BTM10
is now set, we're shooting it up July 17th
and as it stands, If you registered for BTM09,
you're automatically rolled over for BTM10,
but please, if you cannot make July 17th
"MeatGrinder"
let me know, we have others waiting - who's going to take the Tank
home!? We'll also be featuring a live "Satellite
BTM Feed" (...I'll leave you guessing on
that, I hope it arrives from the US in time!..).
In
other news, Tempolagy 2
has finally found a home, it'll be in Oakville on July
1st - head to the page
to sign-up if you don't have plans for the Canada Day weekend, it'll be
a great way to blast in Canada Day.

so tired! Just staggered into the door moments ago... So much

just say the drive home from Hillsborough, New Brunswick was, well...

My
bags are packed, and I'm out the door for my 20 hour non-stop drive-a-thon
to New Brunswick -- This is my last chance to check my EMail. I'd
like to send my thanks out too all who've flooded my mailbox with well
wishes, it's greatly appreciated and we're all touched. Have a good
week, and I'll catch up with you all Saturday afternoon (...expected
arrival back...).

Some
bad news -- It's not been a good weekend around the Abattoir.
My grandmother suffered a massive stroke and was rushed to hospital on
the weekend, my parents (...now on route to New Brunswick...) just
called from the car to inform us she passed away early this morning, it
was peaceful.
Obviously,
I'll be driving to New Brunswick today or tomorrow. Thus, regrettably,
I'm sure you'll all understand when I say we're forced to cancel BTM09
-- We'll let BTM09
pass in respect and move to schedule BTM10
ASAP. As it stands, I'm going to leave everyone who's signed-up right
now, when the date's finalized, let me know.

quick note here -- I know many of you are not in a position to keep upgrading
your sound, video, cpu, underwear and the like, here's yet another great

Tardy
on the updates, eh? Anyone catch the rotation in the clouds yesterday
before the storm hit? Neat apocalypse kinda' sky thing we had going
on there! Okay, what's new, GXMOD
(...sorry LoSt...) will be the tournament MOD we'll have a hack
at, I'd like to also checkout Generations,
I'm hearing nothing but cool stuph about that! Remember, the real
tourney is BTM10,
so this is a dry run. Slaughter's been busy with all the spare parts
we have and has been putting together a dedicated
NT Server for the hub in the MeatCellar
-- when done, we'll be running all game servers off that dedicated NT Box.
(...Paul, you might wanna' push Linux on me now!..). Bammbamm's
Abattoir
Mirror Half-Life TF Server is not happening,
ever since the patch came out, he's been having problems so it's killed
for the time being. Due to a few who've found out they can't make
it, we now have a couple openings now for BTM09!
