We're looking into the date for BTM16, We're also asking for "a few good men" to come forth and offer their help with hot tub moving duties around the 13th of March.  BammBamm's moving and we're chucking in to help, I'm bringing the flat-bed, we need "lifters"...  Anyone who's interested and able please drop me a note, it will be greatly appreciated.

Testing, 1... 2... 3... Hello!?  Is this Webserver working? iPrimus / Globalserve / Primus Canada / Whatever they're called this morning has been doing some major reconfiguring, this "seamless and invisible procedure" is causing some major problems with respect to this site!  (...at least I have an excuse for lack of updates now!..)  Cable's been up and down the last couple weeks, outages with mail servers...  Gee, anyone out there want to subscribe to the "Abattoir.Net" network!?

We'll be punching a lot of Unreal Tournament again, and perhaps we'll do a room vs. room again (...that was a kick!..) plus a bit of CTF in Quake3:Arena.  Again I have to turn your attention to the LAN Button, this BTM filled in minutes (...literally...) so here we sit 6 or more weeks later and I again have to ask that you check to make sure you're listed, and if you are, are you coming!?  We have many people in the standby list, so please let us know!

I've finally broken down and purchased a PalmV and now I'm hooked!!  Redneck and myself have been playing head to head Battleship through the IR ports, it's a hoot (...but I can't see a Palm LAN Party happening too soon...)  Anyone know when Quake's coming out for the Palm Pilots? <GriN!>

Just a quick note here...  I want to publicly say thanks to SGT.Slaughter who pulled a nice selfless act the other day.  A long time friend of mine came for a visit and brought her PC with her, it's a 486/33 and she needed it 'upgraded'.  She had minimal to spend and wanted a faster CD-ROM, Slaughter and I just looked at each other (...there was NO point in spending a dime on it...).  Slaughter then took out his old AMD-K6/300 and put together a great little computer with an 8Meg AGP ATI Graphics card, 6 Gig SCSI HD, 64 Meg SDRAM, sound and I donated my old 36x CD-ROM drive.  He formatted, loaded it up and handed it to her with not a penny asked and not a word said.  He smells a bit, but he's got a heart of gold!  Just wanted to make mention of it...
