APRIL 2000 MINUTES ARCHIVE
Wasn't that a party?! A full house
rocked last night as the Leaf's
eliminated Ottawa and sent them golfing... 15 of us crowded the televisions
at the Abattoir and watched awesome hockey that ended just how we like
it! Wings, Beer, Pizza, Chips, Pretzels, Dips, Cheese Plates - great
food, great time! (...notice how Beer makes it in with the food
groups...) So great, the cops even wanted to join us! --
You know... I think I've just about had enough of that useless waste
of skin next door. We ended up out back enjoying our victory by the
outdoor fire and that piece of 5h1t sociopath next door neighbour of mine
called the police. Excuse me? What time in the evening was
it!? The police said they parked out back (...unknown to us...)
and listened for about ten minutes, in the officers OWN words; "We're sorry,
but if we're called we HAVE to come out... We listened out back for
ten minutes and there's no problem here, the level of conversation is perfectly
acceptable, sorry to have disturbed you." I invited the officer in
and had a one on one with him regarding captain sensitive next door.
(...I asked if I could borrow his gun actually...) Hey, dickhead
neighbour (...I hope you read the Abattoir
you piece of 5h1t...) If you complain
about people having a life around you one more time, I swear I'll bolt
a 300Watt David D-Box subwoofer directly on the wall that faces your bedroom
and pulse ultra-low frequency thumps at random intervals for the rest of
your life!! Have you even seen "Dune"? Remember the "thumpers"
-- It'll be a sorry reality to your life if you don't stop harassing us...
If you keep f^cked-up hours at work that's not our fault... If you
can't sleep, try doing it laying down in your bed instead of up against
the wall with a glass to your ear you freak. Anyone know a hitman
for hire?
Whew... Glad I got that out of my
system (...No Craig, tell us how you really feel, don't sugar coat it!..)
Okay, Thursday's our next get together, I should have all the pretzels
vacuumed up by then (...you pigs in the penalty box, geez, I think Thursday
I'll just throw down a tarp!..) Let me know if you'll be joining
us.
 
Great hockey game last night (...not
the outcome we were looking for, but a great game none the less...).
Had a full house for game 3 of the cup race. We removed the coffee
table, moved the couch forward and put seats behind it (...that was
the "Penalty Box Seating Area"...) Game 4 is tomorrow, you're
welcome to join us, just drop me a note and we'll reserve a seat for you.
(...Don't worry ladies, you can watch your man on the MeatCAM
to make sure he's behaving himself...).
We even had Pizza left over! "Go Leaf's,
Go!"
Another weekend passes us by (...at
least it was above Zero!..) What was accomplished? Hmmm...
I took my Christmas decorations down! (...lazy bastard!..)
It was getting to the point where either I took them down, or left them
up! the wreath around the front door had some starlings in it trying
to start a nest! The little buggers almost had it done too...
Found a family of field mice in my garage, about 8 of them setup house
in my old golf bag, too cute to kill, so I guess I'll trap them and relocate
them to the neighbours garage! <GriN!>
Playoff time, the Leaf's are on the warpath
as game 3 gets underway in Ottawa tomorrow night... Pizza, wings
and beer at the Abattoir
for the game if you're interested. The Abattoir's
Servers have been pretty busy the last week or so, seems cable's finally
getting a few things straightened away. The Unreal Server had about
12 poeple on it last night and the Quake3 Server was dishing it out to
about 5 or 6 people at the same time, but the pings were all pretty good
(...keep it up Cogeco...) Gimmie some wood to knock on...
BTM17's still taking reservations, get
your name in now if you want to come. I think it's safe to say there'll
be BBQ action for sure this time (...it has to be warm by May 13th!..)

will be on Lucky May 13th! I'm still taking feedback on the MOD to
be played, Quake3:Arena
will be for most of it, but any particular MODs you guys want?
Obviously
the Environment's not Y2K Compliant... The weather's had to be re-booted
three times this season so far! (...Cold Boot at that...)
I can't believe I had to shovel my walk on April 11th.

the BTM has filled,
however, feel free to get your name in, there's always cancellations (..."Unga-Bung"...)
Steve and I just thought, in the summer, we could have a tent pitching
party in the backyard, we'll call it "Gunstock", we'll set-up a "Porta'
Potty", a P.A. system, I can hear the announcements now; "Attention, there's
been some real bad CDs going around, and LoneFart's spreading viruses..."
(...what a vision!..) Brings "camping" and LAN Party to a
new level at least!

BTM18
is going to be... Oops, not sure yet -- We're all waiting for BammBamm
to get off his ass and drop some feedback. In case this has not been
made clear (...my fault...) we are taking reservations now (...although
the date's not set...) for BTM17.
It'll be either May 13th or 20th, we'll let you know within 24hrs.
Do *NOT* sign-up
to "hold" a port, drop your reservation if you're free either of those
weekends (...death by "Unga-Bunga" if you cancel...). PuNKer,
your shorts are going to be auctioned off at the next BTM
if you're not here (...don't ask, it's a short story...).
Another
BTM
is behind us, and we scratch the slate clean and get ready for BTM17.
We'll start taking reservations now, however, if you sign-up it's because
you're coming. From this point on, anyone who signs up then cancels
the night before using an excuse like "I had to work", you'll not be invited
back. We had way too many last second drop-outs, are you not aware
of your work schedule? Does the place you work for call you the night
before and say "come in tomorrow" or what?! If you want in, sign-up,
but sign-up because you intend to come, not just to grab a port.
Let's hear what you want to play at BTM18...
Unreal's
had its workout, perhaps it's time we give Quake3:Arena
a go! Alliance
should be a good MOD to try? Input? You tell me what you want!
The date for BTM17
should be announced in the next day or two.
