APRIL 2001 MINUTES ARCHIVE
 Not
really an update to speak of, other than to say, the date's been set for
BTM25
"RuntFest Rampage!" Edition... Normally
as you all know we try to host on a 6 week clock, however... Since
the next BTM
would land on May "Two-Four" weekend (...which is reserved for severe
drinking here in Canada...) the 25th Silver
Anniversary Edition of the BTM
will be bumped to May 26th (...which is reserved for severe drinking
here in Canada...). Needless to say, although the date had not
been officially posted (...other than the "Abattoir.Net" banner being
posted at 4pm...) we've already been hit with three reservations within
a couple hours (...damned you guys are fast!..) Anywhooz,
get to the SignUp page and slap you're name in now to reserve your port!
By the way... I think you can grab from the name that there's going
to be one hell of a massive "RuntFest" thumb blistering, mouse pounding,
keyboard bashing frag- fest from hell as our main tournament, so make sure
you're prepared!

yeah... Before I forget (...like that'll happen...) "How ‘bout
those Leaf's?!" Get your ass over to the Abattoir
for the game, take "Best Seat in the House", chomp on some snacks and yell
at the TV! Get into the game.
 Looks
like it's update time again (...overdue as per usual!..) Lots
happening this week... First off, it's BTM24
"Two-Four" Edition this weekend (...as
if you've forgotten!..) Early-Bird as usual, 6pm tonight, but
don't expect too much attention because it's also "Game On!" at the Abattoir.
The Leaf's will be doing fearsome battle with the Blackhawks and we'll
be yelling at the TV in fine form, so come on out, set-up early and get
into the game.
Other
big news, although premature, we're announcing the Abattoir
Portals! Yes, for all of you who read
the Abattoir BBs
you were told there was a "hidden link" on the Abattoir
Main Page... I've had several people email me saying they've raped
every pixel of the main page and have not been able to find it. If
you go to the main page, to the right of the screen at the top, float your
mouse in the blank area just above the hit counter and above the blue bar...
Your pointer will change when you're over the hidden link, click and enjoy!
We still have some testing to do, but everything's in place and the system
seems stable, so try it right now... CorpsE
has put a lot of work into the Abattoir's
"Game On!" Site, it's fast becoming an entire
site spin-off, so check it out (...are we saying too much already!?..)
